Cycle Revolution with the Design Museum

We are working alongside the Design Museum to provide a number of different cycle tours during the 6 month exhibition ‘cycle revolution’, which concluded in June 2016.  We have begun the first tours with  ‘cycle cultures'(as the exhibition opened its doors on 18th November).  This tour visits 6 bicycle stores and cafes, with a behind the scenes glimpse into their concept. Brompton Junction, B1866 and velorution have provided a fantastic briefing to the groups. We also visit Rapha, take a coffee and cake at Look Mum no Hands and visit Tokyo bikes before our last stop at Ai Weiwei ‘Forever’ cycle sculpture in the city. The tour covers several districts in London covering 18kms over a 3-4hour window.

All the riders have expressed what a great tour it is, allowing them to see so manu independent and varied cycle concessions in a short time. Our next cycle cultures tour is Sunday January 24th. Then we return in March to launch a new tour ‘design perspectives’, which takes riders along both sides of the Thames.along both sides of the Thames.
